It is here!! All the preparations, discussions, decisions, changes and now it is Showtime. Are you ready for star time (in my best James Brown announcer’s voice)?  Can you feel the excitement in the air?  Alumni are coming from far and near.  We are very excited because this is the 50th graduation year for the Class of 1965.  My how time flies.  And we are back at Lake Lanier Islands Resort – a beautiful resort in the back door of our hometown the big “G” Gainesville, Georgia.This year we have brought in a new band.  So I guess you are saying what is the name? Well, you will have to come see on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 9:00PM. I promise that you are in for an awesome night.  This night has been deemed “An All White/Silver Night. Don’t fret. We understand that all may that you may have already purchased or decided on your attire. Whatever the color, it will go well with the white.

Saturday morning has been set aside for the dedication of the newly built field named in honor of

OUR coach, Mr. E. L. Cabbell. We will have a tour of the new E. L. Cabbell Field, Saturday morning. The bus will leave the Islands promptly at 8:30 AM. A sign-up sheet will be provided.   His wife and the lady who introduced us to Biology, Mrs. Cabbell and other teachers will be there.  You will have to come out and see the other activities.  EXCITEMENT!


An itinerary of all events will be provided in your packets. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it happen.


Come out and fellowship, meet and greet, some old faces and meet some new faces.  This is OUR history.  We must hold on to it and pass on to Our children, grandchildren, a life they never knew That is why our Reunion theme and new tagline is: Preserve our legacy | Prepare our future. Need I say more? See you there!
