Wednesday, August 4th is President Obama’s 49th birthday. Let’s show support of him and help him celebrate.

On August 4th, the Presidents birthday, we ask those who support him to wear any campaign item from the Presidential election as a demonstration of our ongoing support. Bring out your old campaign paraphernalia.

If you don’t have caps, buttons or tee shirts, wear a red, white, and blue tri-color ribbon or clothing on August 4th. If nothing else, this simple demonstration of support for our President will provide a counteraction to the negativity that spews forth daily. We can do this. YES WE CAN. YES WE WILL.

      John,

Does that mean we don’t vote for Roy Barnes?

This will be a tough vote for me. I first thought of voting for Deal until he started talking about Obama Care. My reason for even thinking of giving him my vote was how well Houston County fared under Perdue. Then my support shifted to Barnes until he disrespected the presidency by not attending the events when President Obama was in town. I am still not sure who I will vote for but if Barnes is within striking distance in the polls I will probably vote for him.

Interesting about your friend being Deal’s former partner. I knew Nathan Deal and Tom Jarrared being partners years ago, in-fact, Tom was Mike "Moon Pie" Wilson’s attorney when he signed his first pro football contract in Canada. Could this be the same person?

I am glad you are doing well wherever you. I too am doing well, had a chemo treatment today, five more to go, started with twelve.
