Forrest Hills Boy’s Club – First Black Boy’s Club?

I will need help here…but was the Forrest Hills Boy’s Club, in the old Young’s (Mr. Willie B) Mortuary/Home,the first Black Boy’s Club? We paid a quarter to join and Mr. Harrison was the Director… also Mr. Jacob Wilmont and Rev. George Rucker?…we played pool…boxing (for those that had fighting issues)…Thanks Robert Faulkner…horseshoes…football…and thanks to Jacob Wilmont for Hardball (baseball)…we went to Atlanta to see the Braves!…on a yellow school bus…table tennis…arts and crafts…and we all got “put out” from time to time…I think we had food from time to time…we had good times “up on the hill”…plenty fights but we loved each other….we went to Atlanta one time and played football players that played for the college (Morris Brown)…thanks to Jerry Castleberry for helping up out….”Gene Brown was also on duty up there…we loved to see “Geno” run track and play football #21…this was way before Deion “Primetime” Sanders, #21…Thanks again Robert Faulkner for teaching us football…it way hard but fair…What aboutMr. Frank Ferrell?…we owe him for our football skills…Mr. Jacob Wilmont took us to places like Winder, Monroe, Toccoa and Atlanta to play Little League (Bl
