The scholarship committee is happy to announce the winner of our “2009” scholarship, Miss Chaneia Wilder of Gainesville High School.

Chaneia has been accepted at Clark Atlanta University, where she plans to major in Mass Media Arts. Her counselor commented on her admirable work ethic and commitment to various tasks and projects. We encourage her to stay focused with this same tenacious spirit throughout this next phase in her life.

You should all feel proud that we continue to impact the young lives of our future leaders. We urge everyone to support the golf tournament Friday, September 4, 2009, as a sponsor and/or participant. This event is the major fundraiser for our scholarship fund. Since we are a 501(3)(C) organization, donations of all amounts are fully tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.
