I remember Mack very well. He lived on High St. ,across from Hobbs Alley.Never saw him with a goat cart. Sometimes when walked past our house on Carlton St. he would ask me “boy do you have a penny?” If I did I would say yessir .He would say in a gruff voice “give it to me ” you know I did. He would reach in his pocket and find a nickle coin amoung the change in his hand ond give to me. I’ve never forgotten thse few accasions. Just to share. Jim Brooks
